Hey all!
Good gods, the computer's at work are getting more restricted by the week, so I'm at the local online coffee shop doing this blog entry.
So, I am hard at work trying to get your holiday bits to you all. The main thing I wanted to do for you all was an EPIC fail after much experimenting, so that was a bummer. But there will be something coming, I promise! :}
And now for the big news.....drum roll please......AGT has informed me that I will be auditioning in Portland on Feb.28th/March 1st. Apparently Seattle is not on their itinerary this year, so Portland it is!
It's a GREAT excuse to go a day early and hit Powell's Bookstore, which I love and don't get to go to NEARLY enough! If you haven't heard about Powell's, it is a 3 story bookstore with new, used, hard to find, out of print, and very rare books that literally takes up an entire city block! They actually have maps that you can pick up at the door, so you can find what you are looking for, and don't get lost! LOL I am a HUGE reader, and go through books very quickly, so an expedition down there is dangerous to my bank account! ;)
I hope everyone is doing well! I had a rough few days, so went to Westlake Center last night and did something I've wanted to do for years....
I rode the carousel! They put one up every year for the holidays and it was a lot of fun. Perked me and my inner child right up! I HIGHLY recommend it! :)
