Hey all!
Well, to those who sent me addys, I got your cards off. I had really hoped to do more than that to let you all know how much I appreciate your support, but again, EPIC fail. Sighh....
But I did make them myself and I truly hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them! :)
As for a song choice for the audition, I am focusing on what acapella song to do for the general audition first and foremost, because that is the true make or break moment for anyone auditioning. And so many songs just don't go over well without music. I am thinking about trying a scaled down version of "My Immortal" if I can keep the haunting quality with no background music to help me out.
And as funny as I think the idea of doing "Maybe This Time" is, it's not an option for the first go around in front of the big judges. So that song choice decision will come after I nail down the first one.
And yes, I will go a bit more dressed up this time. I will probably still wear jeans, but dark spanky new ones with my black or brown boots, and a nice top. I still want to be comfortable in what I wear, but not get all of the flack from last year (even though it couldn't be helped).
And dear gods, my hair. I am going with something straight foreward, sleeked down, put behind my ears I think. Something simple in case I need to deal with it before going in front of any cameras.
