Taking a quick break in between packing to move and packing to head to Crazy Party Town, aka New Orleans, tomorrow to update you all on my AGT audition.
My work needed an answer for my audition date, so I made my own, since I hadn't heard from AGT yet. Kailyn had told me that a Sunday audition would work better with his schedule, so that is what I put in at work, only to be told a few days ago that they couldn't find anyone to cover for me without it involving overtime, which they aren't allowing at this time, so sorry, you can't go.
Really. Uhh, I feel a delayed flu coming on. Doesn't present with symptoms until 3 weeks after exposure.
So I called my supervisor back after I had a few minutes to think about it and asked if it would work if I had my audition on Monday instead of Sunday. She said yes, because then I could just switch shifts with a co-worker, and it would be covered.
So there yo have it! My audition will be Monday, March 1st. I plan on being there at 7am, so I can get it done and get back home at a reasonable hour that night.The down side is that it looks like I am going to be going by myself, as no one can take the day off of work to go with me now. I'm not happy about it, but better by myself than not at all.
And I STILL don't know what I'm singing. Sighh.....
