Hey everyone! Whew, things have been a bit hectic here, so I have a brief shiny moment to catch you all up with the 'happs!

   So, first thing is that, for all of you who have asked, I AM on Facebook. Go ahead and friend me, but leave a note with it saying you are one of the commentors here and I'll "friend" you, ok? I had so many requests last year, it was crazy, that I stopped dealing with them. But someone told me there was a way to "friend" people but NOT have them on the home page, so maybe I'll do that. It takes FOR EVER to get through my home page as it is, so that option is prolly best for now. So hit me up, people! :]

   Second, I did get the videos in to AGT, but still nothing. My friend pointed out that I was lacking a bit of enthusiasm when I was talking, so actually probably took too much time, now that I think about it. But it was the day after my breastical biopsy, so was doing the shoot on no sleep and a bit of pain. Oh well, if it's not one thing, it's another! And now, there is 1 more chance to get on. Submit a video of no more than 2 minutes (note to self: Watch the damn time limit!), with no more than 90 seconds of singing to AGT's youtube site, and the producers will select 40 to be voted on. The one with the most votes wins the spot to go in front of the judges. I am going to talk to a friend of mine and see what I can do to edit down the background music to a few of my songs and see if I can get them down, reasonably, to 90 seconds. Anything over and you're out. Wish me luck and I'll let you all know when to check back to see if I made it on to the voting site! :}

   And I did finally get my audition in to Glee last night! I came across as a perky goober, but that's ok, as I am obviously WAY too old to be a H.S. student. But I figured what the hell, right? Ya' never know! I had to use their track of "Don't Rain on My Parade" and I gotta say, that was HARD! I have been singing that song for 20 years and am so used to my track that it threw me off. Had to rerecord twice before I decided it was good enough. And the funny thing is that even with me turning the mic volume way down, and the music WAY up, so I could hear it as it was only piano music, I still over powered the mic! lol They can fix it on their end, I'm sure. ;] It was fun and I'm glad I did it!

   And so the documentary film crew is back in town this week! They are here for the next week or so filming my mundane, boring, everyday stuff that I do for their karaoke film project. It will be good to see them again, but interesting as to what we will shoot as most places won't allow them to film inside their establishments. Maybe I'll go get my tattoo finished while they're here! So that will be occupying almost every moment of my days off this week. It's going to be a LONG week! whew!

  Is that it....? Oh, no surgery needed for the mass that was biopsied. It is not made of anything that will cause a problem when I become pregnant, so YEAH for no surgery!
