Ever have that feeling? If it's not one thing, it's another.
My friend who is helping me get this last video done for the AGT thing has had numerous things come up that have prevented us from getting together these last few weeks. I feel like last minute Charlie again, as we are set to get the video shot, edited and sent in this Tuesday, 1 day before the deadline.
At least it's a whole day better than last time, which was totally my fault. ;)
But get it done I will. If there is another hang up, I will do it myself, as this is FOR SURE the last chance for the show this year.
Let see, what else....oh, yep, the baby thing is on hold for a year.
I have sat down and seriously thought about the things I've always said I wanted to do, but haven't yet, and how if I can't even get off my duff to do them when I am totally free and able, they sure as HELL won't happen once a wee one is here. So I am putting off the baby thing for a year so I can do those things, like go to Ireland. That's going to take time and money, so the year will give me a chance to do that, then build my time and money back up.
I am also looking into the future as far as my job goes. My shoulder has been bothering me again, and I'm starting to wonder if I can keep doing this for much longer. I may need to look into getting a clinic job, where the physical part is greatly diminished, but still keep doing this, as I do like it....for now. ;)
Mad Eye is growing like a weed and sends his regards. He is a little terror now, but Rowdy tolerates him as only an older cat can, and plays with him at times as well. He loves him, just wants to retain that air of aloofness when I'm around so as not to raise suspicions. LOL
Oh, and that sound you hear? That's me kicking myself, as I just missed out on a contest at puresolo.com to do a record. The qualifying songs? Defying Gravity and I Dreamed a Dream! AAAUGH! Siiiggghhhh.... I could have kicked ass on those. Oh well. I'll keep an eye out now that I know about the site. And I'll let you all know when I have looked into the site more and start recording stuff!
That's it for now....oh wait! I took a glass casting class at Prattt here in Seattle and it ROCKED! I am trying to scrounge up some people to do a semi private 2 part class with me as I can't take the one they give as it's on Saturday nights. Boo!
